The Scottà family possess a stunning vineyard in the Tarzo-Cison hills, which is where they began their early efforts to refine grapes into wines with help of new technologies from winemaking experts. Their Cellar was recently renovated using some of these cutting edge techniques that give both environmental protection while still maintaining traditional methods.
The Scottà family have always had a passion for cultivating vines and producing prosecco as far back as the 1960s when land acquisition started taking off here at home around Tarozzo & Cison Venti Estates; this led us to create our very own Vineyards!
The Scottà family estate is located in the hilly area of Solighetto with a natural wine-growing vocation that has been continuously used for centuries. The soil is perfect and produces excellent grapes, which can be found just one step away from ""mulinate de la croda"", an important vineyard site where prosecco vines produce their namesake drink.
The company respects nature in its production, uses natural fertilization and does not use herbicides or desiccants. The harvesting is carried out manually which produces less trauma to the plants that produce a more valuable nectar because it's worked carefully before being pressed.
The Scottà family has been cultivating grapes for generations. From the cold, mountainous hills of Prosecco Italy to your table; we are a purist who takes pride in our method and tradition when it comes down to making good wine- which is why you'll only get authentic quality from us.
The pride of our land teaches us what it gives us and what it asks of. We have respect, humility, and without these there can be no love for the place we call home. A tradition that has been passed down through generations still takes a lot out of those who are in charge to keep up with this work every year- from sunrise till sunset they prune by hand while carrying their own weight on their shoulders - all because they want to make sure that future people will know how hard something as simple as caring for your country is.
