The Codello family's history is the story of a classic Italian-American immigrant tale.

The Roccat farm has been in operation for over 80 years and was established by brothers Salvatore, Antonio, and Emilio after their father divided up his property amongst them at the end of 1929. The original house that now houses the business' headquarters dates back to 1802 when it was built as part of an ancient road between two great estates: one belonging to Alberto Scarpetta (Roccat) while another belonged to Giorgio Ferrari.

For centuries, the cultivation of grapes were a typical practice in these lands. In 1905, this region produced their first Prosecco wine with natural fermentation that takes place in the bottle. The following generations have continued down the path to producing quality wines and dedicating themselves to caring for vineyards by harvesting them manually and selecting only high-quality grapes used for prosecco production today.

The Roccat winery, which has its roots in the early 1930s, was built on a foundation of dedication to quality. The Codello family farm dates back to that time and is still at work today as it continues with vinification. Although small by comparison to other wine producers, they are dedicated completely through cultivation up till bottling and sale right here in Italy!

The six hectares of vineyards owned in the municipality of Valdobbiadene are located at an altitude 200 meters above sea level, on land rich with clays and marne. The grapes grown there give wine that is crisp, bright and refreshing.

The vines at the vineyard were ancient and mature, dating back to 150 years. They grow in all areas that are exposed to south light for maximum exposure time. The way they produce wine is a bit different than other wineries- most of their grapes come from cappuccino system which allows them more control over how much water/sunlight comes in contact with the grape during production. This makes it so that each berry gets exactly what it needs without being messed up by too many external factors like wind or rain getting into play throughout production!

The family’s vineyard is located at the edge of Belluno Dolomites National Park in Cesiomaggiore on land that once belonged to Venice. The four hectares are dedicated to cultivation of pinot bianco, chardonnay and bianchetta vines. They cultivate grapes high up into mountain air where it can be as cool as 12 degrees Celsius even during July when temperatures elsewhere may reach 30-35 degrees Fahrenheit (86°F).

The care and respect that goes into this estate's winemaking process is reflected in every facet of its operation. Though most everything here at the winery is done by hand, machinery also runs on clean energy sourced from a photovoltaic source which keeps these bottles coming!

The chateau takes great pride in their meticulous attention to detail throughout all stages of production, ensuring that even when machines are being used for harvesting or pressing they still always operate off the power supplied by solar panels atop each building.
