Miotto Valter were born as a farm with the goal of growing grapes that are then turned into wine. As we grow, our wines change and so does our region - but in every bottle you taste there's always a little bit of home. We love what we do because it is part life-long work and family tradition for us; this shapes how each new vintage tastes from year to year whether they're traditional or modern visions on these traditions. It means taking care not only about where your bottles come from, but also why--so when you drink them here at home remember all those who made sure your glass was never empty!

Our philosophy is not one of costly spectacles and theatrical gestures, it's the way we embrace hospitality that makes us ours. A team so close to each other in a territory authentically bound by passion; where our words become wine through this natural process of expression with those around us who share our vision: creating wines for people like you.

We don't just make wines but also create something special together - an experience as authentic as any handshake or hug shared along life's journey.

We promote hospitality because having people with us in the cellar and in the vineyard is the best opportunity we have to touch our reality. Explaining this passion that binds us to this territory with words, wines, and a team are all factors that we consider fundamental for being able share ideas freely which allow them grow together as well as amplify their work.

This is why we are proud to be associated with the Consortium for the Protection of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, defending and promoting this World Heritage Site in order to ensure our signature wines stay available. This region has a rich history that dates back centuries - it's an important part of Italy's wine heritage as well as ours!

For all these reasons, not only does being involved with FIVI protect against unfair trade practices but also ensures more transparency between producers and consumers by maintaining strong relationships along every step down the food chain.

We always have a story to tell. Our wines are the expression of our life, values and culture as much as they represent Italy's great diversity. For this reason we work with other producers who share in these same thoughts but might not know how best to make their wine known on an international level.

We are not a part of the Trevigiani Independent Winegrowers because we found that our focus is in working on vineyards and cellars, which many times limits us to being confined within Italy. We find this unfortunate as it leaves us at the mercy of those who know how to speak about wines and market them appropriately but do not live here so they can't fully understand all aspects of Italian culture that goes into making wine by hand. To combat this problem we rely on people from around Italy who love wines just like we do, with each region having their own unique ""Story Of Lives"" behind every bottle produced there.
