La Vinicola Decordi has been making wine in the family-owned bar since 1921. The area was known for its vineyards and Quirico Decordi Senior made some bottles of red wines, such as Fortana, Ancellotta, Lambrusco etc. These wines were served with great success at the restaurant where they originally got their start. This success led them to become more interested in wine production - so alongside selling drinks at the bar they started producing artisanal wine too!
