The story of Gemin Prosecco begins in 1978 when Guglielmo Bortolomiol leaves the family business that saw him among the pioneers of Prosecco since the 1950s, to found the Spumanti Gemin di Valdobbiadene. Guglielmo, who bears the same name as his father, was called Gemin from an early age; that's why he decides to give this name to his new company. Since 1985 there has been a continuous expansion of the company, with the construction of a new crushing cellar and new packaging.
