Cristian and Andrea started 47 Anno Domini Winery after discovering that the street where it was born was named Via Claudia Augusta

When Cristian and Andrea decided to go into the winery business, they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. Their grandparents owned a vineyard, but their father had been adamant about not following in his footsteps. The two brothers didn't listen though and set off with a passion for wine-making. They started 47 Anno Domini Winery after discovering that the street where it was born was named Via Claudia Augusta - an old Roman road which connected Venice to the plains beyond the Brenner Pass.
