The Fornasier family has been producing wines since the late 1800s. The winemaking process started with grandfather Giuseppe, who returned from World War I in 1918 and was involved in wine production until 1950 with his children. They cultivated grapes on hillsides while keeping mulberry trees for silkworm breeding in the countryside. In 1960, eldest son born 1915 took over the vineyards along with his three children, and they still keep this tradition alive today!
