The wine estate’s 200 hectares of vineyards, over half of which self-owned, are cultivated using the best agronomic methods. They are located in the hills of Conegliano, the “pearl of Veneto” and city of art and wine. At Ogliano, a historic zone for Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Masottina expresses its great talent for producing sparkling wines. Here the estate skilfully achieves superbly fine sparkling wine that symbolises a unique terroir, “Le Rive di Ogliano”. Also produced in this area are Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut and Extra Dry. In these famous Conegliano hills Masottina also makes two important DOCG wines: Montesco and Rizzardo, both from international grape varieties and both matured in barrique.
