Located on the border between Italy and Slovenia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia is an area of  natural beauty, with rolling green hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves. It has one of the highest concentrations of grape varieties anywhere on earth; some say as many as 100 different kinds! The region's most famous wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. But there are also lesser known gems to be explored!One such gem is Antica Quercia (Ancient Oak), a winery located in Veneto.
