The Contarini Winery has a rich history that dates back to 1806, when the founder of the company Giovanni Battista Contarini began selling wine door-to-door. The company grew and expanded from Conegliano to Venice where they took over an abandoned airfield in Mestre, converting it into what is now a well known winemaking facility. From its humble beginnings as a small family business with just one cellar, today the Contarini Winery manages every step of production from start to finish.
