Zonin has been passed down through the Zonin family for six generations and is now in its seventh. Domenico took over leadership from his father Gianni, who ran it since 1967 until 2004 when he retired to teach at university. During these 37 years of ownership by the elder Zonin, they have had significant success both domestically and internationally.
