Ca' Salina |
The Ca’ Salina Winery was founded by Riccardo Bortolin in the 1970s, after the historic Cantina Bortolin had been split between him and his brothers. The name “Ca' Salinas (Salt House)” is due to a house which probably used as a salt store that still stands today behind it. In 1993 Gregorio built his winery inside of an existing hill on land he owned; this gave him full autonomy over every aspect of production while also providing visitors with exceptional customer service from one who deeply understands hospitality being self-taught during work experience at hotels and through travel abroad.
The Ca’ Salina Winery is located in the province of Treviso, Italy. From its windows you can see over a vast landscape dotted with vineyards and grapevines that create an artful tapestry against the backdrop of rolling hillsides. The estate's large family villa dominates this Italian countryside; it stands proudly on top of a hill overlooking valleys filled with cherry-red vines and rows upon row stretching as far as your eyes will allow to search for endpoints where there are none to be found.
